TEMPORARY INSTALLATION

Temporary installations are not to be used as an alternate source of power!

The use of Temporary Electric Power is permitted during the period of construction, remodelling, maintenance, repairing, and demolishing buildings, structures, equipment, special functions, and or similar activities.

  • In lieu of having the building properly wired and inspected 

  • To be used to live within a semi-constructed building

As of April 1, 2024, all temporary supply connections that have been in existence for more than five (5) years without a reasonable explanation shall be terminated. Construction works relating to such installations should have been completed within this time. This would have allowed for the structure to be wired, inspected, and certified.
