The Design Services department provides technical design advice about architecture, land surveying, traffic management, and planning and development. It also seeks to improve road safety and access to property.
Design Services consist of the Architecture Drawing Office, Electronics Unit, the Land Surveying Section, the Town and Country Planning Section, and the Traffic Management Section.
Modernization of accommodation/buildings for government employees.
Manages the island’s signalized traffic lights system and provides electronic services to the ministry and the House of Parliament.
Produces topographic and cadastral information for Architectural and Civil Engineering designs within the Ministry.
Responsible for monitoring the flow of traffic on the island’s road and maintaining road safety infrastructure.
