Motorists are advised that sections of Highway R will be patched starting tomorrow, Thursday, February 13, 2025.  B&R Infrastructure Ltd., the contractor working for the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW), will carry out the work from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. nightly.

They will begin patching from the entrance of Fort George Heights and progress easterly in the direction of Edey Village. The work is estimated to take eight nights pending weather or unforeseen circumstances.

The road will be reduced to single-lane traffic; however, traffic wardens and signage will be in place to guide road users.  Motorists are advised to expect delays and to use alternate routes where possible. MTW and B&R Infrastructure Ltd. apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused, and thank residents, businesses, and road users for their cooperation.
