Residents, businesses, and road users are advised that the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) will be milling and paving a section of Station Hill, St. Peter, from the junction of Station Hill and Speightstown to Douglas Development.

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, B and R Infrastructure Ltd will start the milling. On completion of the milling, MTW’s Paving Unit will follow on with paving.

Motorists are advised that Station Hill, St. Peter, will only remain open to Transport Board, Public Service Vehicles, and to facilitate local access. The work will be carried out at night from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

In a continued effort to further improve road conditions across the island, milling commenced on two other roads on Monday, July 7, 2025. Infra Construction Inc. began milling the road that leads to Foul Bay Beach in St. Philip. MTW’s Paving Unit will resurface the road after the milling is done. In addition, C. O Williams Construction Ltd. is milling and paving Philips Road in St. Joseph.

Both the road to Foul Bay beach and Philips Road will be closed during working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting. The contractors will make provisions for local access. MTW and its contractors thank persons for their continued patience and apologise for any inconvenience.
