The Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW), advises the public that the section of Tom Adams Highway, between Kooyman Barbados and Deighton Griffith Secondary School, Christ Church will be closed tomorrow night Thursday, May 8, 2025, between 6:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. This is to allow MTW’s Road Marking crew to repaint the recently refurbished road, which was done as part of the Highway Maintenance Programme.

Motorists going in the direction of Bridgetown are encouraged to detour via Highway 6 and rejoin via Kendal Hill, or via Kingsland/Gall Hill. Motorists heading east will be detoured either left or right at the Edwy Talma Roundabout.

 Road users are asked to seek alternative routes where possible, and obey signage and directions given by flag personnel. MTW apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its patience and cooperation.
