Barbadians will soon have the opportunity to share with Government their daily experiences and frustrations of being in traffic, when the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) hosts a series of consultations, this month.

Dubbed National Consultation on Traffic,the series begins on Monday, March 23, at the Deighton Griffith Secondary School, Kingsland, Christ Church and will be held under the theme: The Way Forward.

It will continue on Wednesday, March 25, at the Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Roads, St. Philip, Monday, March 30, at The St. Michael School, Martindales Road, St. Michael and on Wednesday, April 1 at the Alexandra School, Queens Street, Speightstown, St. Peter.

A key aim of the National Consultation on Traffic is to provide a forum for citizens to discuss the current traffic situation and offer suggestions that could assist with alleviating congestion on the island’s roads.

Minister of Transport and Works and Senior Minister coordinating Infrastructure Kirk Humphrey, will chair the sessions which start at 6:30 p.m.

All are invited to attend the meetings.
