MTW’S SCOTLAND DISTRICT ROAD REHABILITATION PROGRAMME CONTINUES – ERMY BOURNE HIGHWAY

The Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) contractor, the China National Complete Plant Import & Export Corporation Ltd. (COMPLANT) advises the public that the Scotland District Road Rehabilitation Programme
continues along the Ermy Bourne Highway, St. Joseph. The work, which started in late March 2025, will intensify beginning April 29th, 2025, and will extend for a period of eight months, weather permitting.
The roadworks will include improvements to drainage, curbs, culverts, and retaining walls. At the end of these works, the road will be milled and paved.
Residents are advised that these activities may generate noise, dust, and mud, and may cause occasional disruptions to water and electricity services. However, the contractors are dedicated to minimizing inconveniences to the community wherever possible, while ensuring the safety of all residents throughout the project.
Persons living in the vicinity, as well as the general public, are asked to exercise caution while traversing the area and adhere to all signage and directions given by personnel on site.
MTW and the COMPLANT team thank the public for its understanding and cooperation as they continue to rehabilitate the roads in the Scotland District.
