The Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW) advises the public that the northbound section of the Wildey Triangle in St. Michael, from Carters General Store to the back of Courtesy Garage, has been temporarily closed until further notice.

This section of the road, which is currently under repair, has become severely waterlogged due to recent heavy rainfall. In the interest of public safety, this section has been temporarily closed effective today, Tuesday, May 13, 2025, until further notice. Local access will only be permitted to residents and the Barbados National Trust.

Motorists can access the ABC Highway via Wildey Road; however, road users are urged to use alternative routes. MTW apologizes for any inconvenience caused and will provide timely updates regarding the reopening of the road.
